knitting with broomsticks!

Yep! You read right! I AM knitting with broomsticks. I am knitting with the most silky soft un-spun Merino wool. It's huge. Broomsticks are big and a bit of a novelty to knit with. It's going along swimmingly though! I am going to have to most silky soft floor rug to cuddle up on this winter! It's in it's early stages but I was a bit excited and wanted to share. I will show you the finished product when I'm done... and I had best get a wriggle on as I have no broooms in the house until I finish. Yikes!!

Are you in the middle of any creative projects at the moment?? Do share.

There are a few creative projects going on here.

xx

  1. I love it! I've seen these on Pinterest, but seemed like a pretty intense project. Good luck!

    1. Thanks :-) It's actually not as intense as I imagined it would be.

  3. Wow! That is amazing! I am contemplating crocheting some kind of a floor rug but am not sure what to make it from. That wool looks divine :-)

    1. Do it! I am very lucky to have this beautiful wool to play with. I know you can sometimes pick huge balls of wool like this up on Ebay. The wool hasn't been spun so it's nice and thick to knit/crochet with... otherwise you might be there for a lifetime while working on such a big project ;-)
