We celebrated a birthday this weekend. My biggest baby turned six. SIX! I can't quite fathom that I am the mother of a six year old. The party guests wore felt headdresses, we crafted dream-catchers in a teepee and munched on hummingbird cake... it was all a bit dreamy.

I have kids now not babies, although they'll always be my babies. We're at an age now where we have long meaningful conversations. I am regularly asked questions that are challenging, like what is gravity and what would happen if the bees didn't pollinate our flowers... Yikes!

We're in a different phase of parenting and it's quite enlightening and maybe a bit confronting when you have to run to google before you answer a tricky question! x
