bamboo circle shelf DIY

I've had a pretty crafty day today. In fact I've been making all sorts of things since 8am... it's now just after 5pm. Talk about getting stuck in the zone! How cute are these little shelves?! They're made out of a bamboo steamer! Here's how:

* Take a bamboo steamer. They come in a range of sizes, any in fine.
* Remove the bamboo bottom so you have a nice clean circle.
* You can leave the steamer the colour it is or you could paint it or varnish it. Today I varnished mine to match the other wooden pieces in our lounge room.
* Attach a hook or hanger to the back of the steamer circle and hang on the wall.

You could play around a little have an arrangement in all different sized steamer circles. xx
