winter warming

We are smack bang in the middle of winter at the moment. It is soooo wintery. We're down south on the Victorian coast and while it doesn't snow it does get pretty cold. The morning fog has been beautiful and there has been an abundance of puddles to jump about in. This week we've been baking, dying wool, tidying the house and enjoying this wintery weather. We celebrated a special friend's birthday around a great big bonfire while sipping on beer & cider and filling our bellies with yummy roast meats. With our gumboots, winter woolies and so much laughter we hardly noticed how freezing it was out at the farm.

Right now, the sun is out! We're about to pop our gumboots on and go have our lunch in the tree house outside. How's your Sunday? I hope it's a good one! x
